GREENERY THAT LASTS LONGER THAN THE SEASON

WHY IT LOOKS REAL
Most artificial greenery is one shade of green all the way along and obviously plastic the moment a warm lamp hits it. This is built in layers — varied needle lengths and two-tone colour through the whole run — so it reads as real from across the room.

A steel wire core runs the full 6ft, so the garland holds whatever shape you give it — tight around a banister spindle, loose and trailing over a mantel edge, or flat down the centre of a table.

Rated for outdoor use — two frames a standard door, three for a wider porch. Fix it at several points rather than just the ends so it does not shift in wind.

CARE
Fluff and shape the branches when you unpack it, dust it lightly between seasons, and keep it out of direct sunlight to preserve the colour. Store it loosely coiled in a dry bin rather than folded, and it will look full season after season.

we've had real cedar on the mantelpiece every year since the kids were small and every year I say never again, the needles get everywhere and by Boxing Day it looks sad. Ordered two of these first week of November, they came on the Thursday. Took me a good twenty minutes with a cup of tea pulling the branches out because its flat as a pancake in the box, but once its done it looks proper. My sister asked if it was real and she's fussy. Nothing on the carpet all December, nothing.
Wrapped two of these round the stair banister, the little hooks on the ends clip together so there's no gap, and it went round the newel post without a fight. You bend it and it just stays, no cable ties, no faffing about with string. My wife was convinced it would sag by Boxing Day and it didnt move an inch. Only thing I'd say is get your lights on it before you put it up, I did it the other way round like an idiot and had to unwind half of it. Would buy again, probably two more for the landing.
Put two of these round the front door mid November. We get a lot of wind off the water here and I honestly expected to find it in the neighbours garden by morning. Tied it on in a few places with garden wire and it hasn't budged. Rain, frost, that week where it didnt stop blowing, still looks the same. Colour hasn't gone off either, my old one went a funny yellow after one winter. Getting another for the porch rail next year.
I rent a one bed flat so no fireplace, just a long shelf in the lounge above the telly. Got one thinking that would do it. It looks lovely and real from the sofa and it bends round the corner and stays put which I didn't expect, but on its own it is a bit thin so I ended up folding it back on itself and now it only covers about half the shelf. Each length is 6ft with a hook at either end, so you can join as many as you need into one continuous run. Most people use one to four across a mantel depending on width, two down a table, and two or three around a front door. Don't cut it — the steel core runs the full length.
Yes. It's rated for both indoor and outdoor use and handles rain, wind and cold without fading or drooping. For an exposed spot like a front door, fix it at several points rather than just the ends so it doesn't shift in wind.
No. The needles are moulded onto the branch rather than glued, so nothing drops on your mantel, floor or table. No sap, no watering, no hoovering in January.
Fluff it first — work along the garland pulling side branches away from the wire, alternating up, down and out. If a branch won't hold its shape, pass a hairdryer on low heat slowly over it from about a foot away and bend the tips while warm; they'll set as they cool. Never use a heat gun or hold heat on one spot. For more volume, run two lengths side by side rather than end to end.
Fan the branches back toward the core, coil it loosely rather than folding it sharply, and return it to the original box. Keep it dry and out of direct sunlight and it'll look the same next December.
Keep it away from open flame, working fireplaces and any direct heat source, and use LED lights only. It's decorative polyethylene, so treat it like any artificial greenery around fire.
